Seiken Tsukai no World Break

Summary

Written by Akamitsu Awamura, the series takes place in a private high school involving the concept of “saviors.” They are known as people who possess awakened memories of their past lives. The story tells of a young boy named Moroha Haimura who comes to this private school.

At the school, there are two types of people: Shirogane, who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Prana powered from their own bodies, and Kuroma, who wipe out enemies with magic to manipulate the Mana powers that surpass physics. Moroha Haimura is the first person with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.

Woah never expected someone continue this project, since I curious how the LN after watch the anime thank you for the hard-work.
Oh, bu the way I see the ebook sections, but can I made an epub from this series?

    • I mean, I don’t mind at all, but if you’ve got complaints with the current epub, I’d like to hear them so later ones are better.

Nope, yours epub is already great. It’s just I have my own personal taste regarding epub, so I would like to asking permission for making my own epub as my personal collection (I can share it with you if you want for an alternative version) and won’t share it without permission of course. Oh and maybe another question, did volume 2 don’t have and afterwards or you leave the afterwards not to be translated?

      • Yeah, you’re perfectly welcome to go ahead and make epubs or whatever, don’t worry about sharing it, though I would appreciate credit.

As for volume 2’s afterword, it does have one, just I wanted to get on to other stuff, and with how relatively unimportant the afterword is, I didn’t bother yet. I’m planning on going back at some point and doing the afterwords though. (It just may take a good while)

So, finally I made the epub World Break for volume 1 & 2:

    volume 1: https://nodefiles.com/qrjt98spv5jj
    volume 2: https://nodefiles.com/lc8g6hf1223c

As we know volume 1 is from Baka-Tsuki so I’m not sure is allowed share in here or not, so if it’s somehow not appropriate you can delete it.
As the epub from your translations, don’t worry I always put a credit, but I’m sorry (maybe I’m not hard enough to search) I can’t find any editor or another roles so I just made simple credits which is linked to this website. Then, like I said you can said that my epub is just an alternate version, but in my opinion while making the epub, it would be better if you make the technique name or the chant of the magic in bold or italic so we can know it (which is I’ve done on my epub). Then I also found some missing illustrations for example the cover, I can find the high size but I think the resolution was inferior with your illustrations, so maybe if you could provide a better quality for the cover I can change it on my epub and yeah if you decided to translate the afterword I will include it into my epub. The last, thank you for you hard-work for bringing this LN alive again. Can’t wait volume 3 to be full translated 🙂

    • I personally have no problem with you sharing the BT volume 1 here, though I suppose it’s possible that the original TL might, but he seems to have gone completely MIA. On the cover, volume 2’s is here: https://mountainofpigeons.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/cover1.jpg and I replaced all of volume 1’s stuff on BT with the best quality I had.

Speaking of editors, I thought I’d mentioned it in the release posts after he started helping me, but volume 2 (and everything of 3 so far, little as it is) has been edited by Jet Fuel.

Forgot to mention at first, but you’ll see that some of the chants were italicised etc, because they were made distinct in the raw, others weren’t and so I left them as normal text.
I do like the overall style of your epubs, though perhaps it would be worth adding page breaks to the image class in the css seeing as you’re using text separators rather than the images like I was. (Yes I was too lazy to add a class to all of the illustrations so I could do it right -.-)

and yes for the text separators and some italics style for chants, etc is just personal taste 🙂
thank you for giving permission to made the epub and share it with everyone 🙂

do you see it anywhere stated that its dropped or anything implying to that affect? or any announcements related to this matter? or are you not able to even determine that without it being spelled out for you ?

I’m sorry if my question offended you. But we just want to know, Alright? the reason i ask the question might offend the translator so im not gonna say it. So yeah i can’t determine without it being spelled for us ^^ Forgive me if this comment offends you

      • I’m actually quite interested in the reason you asked, assuming it’s more than just being impatient of course, in that case I’m not really _interested_, but nor do I really mind/feel offended. If the reasoning is something along the lines of having found another translator that’s interested should I not be continuing it then I’m doubly interested. As you may have gathered, my capricious whims mean that I have many projects, and someone picking one like World Break up would actually be rather welcome.

For future reference, if I decide I’m definitely dropping a series and will _never_ be coming back to it, I’ll make an announcement post and mark it on the project page, otherwise things can (and will, as you can see) take breaks, possibly long ones.

As for World Break, I’ve actually just finished the chapter in the last few hours. I’ll be delaying it until the first so my editor for it might have a chance to go over it, but I think it should be decent enough that it can be posted then even if he doesn’t get the time free.

Yes there is another reason beside impatient, i tell you that. But also the reason is not because there is someone that wants to translate Seiken. Sorry for crushing your hope. Well if the translation is still ongoing then thank you very much. I hope the day when you drop the project never came, i guess. But as long you’re just taking breaks, then it’s fine. You guys are doing it free anyway, so i don’t have the right to complain. And also thank you for spelling it out for me/us! Great help indeed. Anyways Gambaruyo ! also…. i will remember that reference too.
